Recent change Eleven v3 is now the default text-to-speech model. Scribe v2 Medical became generally available on 11 Sep 2026. Music v2.5 and Dubbing v2 are available through the API.
ElevenLabs makes realistic AI voices. Use it to narrate videos and audiobooks, dub content into other languages, clone your own voice, create sound effects and music, or give a voice to an AI agent. Developers can use all of it through an API.
The free plan gives 10,000 credits a month, which is enough to try it, but it does not include a commercial licence or voice cloning. Starter, at $6 a month, adds both. Long projects such as full audiobooks use credits quickly, so heavy users should look at Creator or Pro.
Privacy: ElevenLabs uses data from non-Enterprise users to improve its models by default. Turn it off under Profile, Terms and privacy, Data use; the change applies to new data only.

Your data
By default ElevenLabs uses data from non-Enterprise users to improve its models. To opt out, go to Profile > Terms and privacy > Data use and switch off 'Improve the models for everyone'; the change applies only to new data. Enterprise data is not used for training by default.
