Consensus is a search engine that answers questions using peer-reviewed research. Ask something like “does creatine improve memory?” and it reads the relevant studies and summarises what they found, with links to each paper.
It suits students, clinicians and curious readers who want to know what the science says rather than what the web says. Standard searches are unlimited on the free plan, with a small monthly allowance of its more detailed Pro answers and Deep reviews. Pro, at $20 a month, makes Pro answers unlimited.
It is only as good as the research that exists, so for current events, business questions or how-to topics there is little for it to draw on. Consensus says it never uses user data to train AI models.
