Teachers Pay Teachers, the large online marketplace where teachers sell lesson materials, plans to ban AI-generated resources, Chalkbeat reported on 15 October.
The move follows Chalkbeat’s reporting in August on poor AI-made listings, including an alphabet worksheet missing a letter. The company says it is building tools to detect and remove AI material.
Why it matters: a major education marketplace is treating AI-made content as a quality problem rather than a feature.
