AIooze exists because there is a great deal of AI news and very little AI explanation.
Who this is for
People who need to understand artificial intelligence without specialising in it — product managers, founders, analysts, students, engineers working outside machine learning. We assume you are smart and busy, and that you do not need a definition of "algorithm".
What we cover
Developments that change what is possible, what something costs, or what is permitted. We generally skip funding rounds, product marketing, and speculation about timelines.
How we handle uncertainty
Benchmarks are claims, not findings, particularly when published by the party that trained the model. We say when something is contested, and we would rather write "we do not know" than imply more confidence than the evidence supports.
Maintenance
Reference pages carry a review date. When facts change — a price, a context window, a licence — we update the page rather than publishing a new one and leaving the old one wrong.
Money
Some links in the model directory are affiliate links, disclosed on the page where they appear. No vendor pays for coverage, placement, or a favourable assessment.
